Terms and Conditions

Please read our Terms and Conditions of Sale prior to purchasing goods from our site:
PLEASE READ THIS DOCUMENT CAREFULLY! IT CONTAINS VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS, AS WELL AS LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS THAT MAY APPLY TO YOU.

This Agreement contains the terms and conditions that apply to purchases from The Door Wizard Limited an Access Control Systems Manufacturer UK that will be provided to you ("Customer") on orders for Access Control Systems and/or related products and/or services and support sold by The Door Wizard Limited in the United Kingdom. By accepting delivery of the access control systems, other products and/or services and support described on that invoice, Customer agrees to be bound by and accepts these terms and conditions.

THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLY (I) UNLESS THE CUSTOMER HAS SIGNED A SEPARATE PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH THE DOOR WIZARD LIMITED, IN WHICH CASE THE SEPARATE AGREEMENT SHALL GOVERN; OR (II) UNLESS OTHER THE DOOR WIZARD LIMITED STANDARD TERMS APPLY TO THE TRANSACTION.

These terms and conditions are subject to change without prior written notice at any time, at The Door Wizard Limited's sole discretion.


1. Other Documents.

Other than as specifically provided in any separate formal purchase agreement between Customer and The Door Wizard Limited, these terms and conditions may NOT be altered, supplemented, or amended by the use of any other document(s). Any attempt to alter, supplement or amend this document or to enter an order for product(s) which is subject to additional or altered terms and conditions will be null and void, unless otherwise agreed to in a written agreement signed by both Customer and The Door Wizard Limited.

2. Governing Law.

THIS AGREEMENT AND ANY SALES THERE UNDER SHALL BE GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE UNITED KINGDOM .

3. Payment Terms; Orders; Quotes; Interest.

Terms of payment are within The Door Wizard Limited's sole discretion, and unless otherwise agreed to by The Door Wizard Limited, payment must be received by The Door Wizard Limited prior to The Door Wizard Limited's acceptance of an order. Payment for the products and services and support may be made by credit card/ debit card, cheque, cash or bank transfer, or some other prearranged payment method unless The Door Wizard Limited's has agreed to credit terms. Invoices are due and payable within the time period noted on the reverse side of the invoice, measured from the date of the invoice. The Door Wizard Limited may invoice parts of an order separately. Orders are not binding upon The Door Wizard Limited until accepted by The Door Wizard Limited. Any quotations given by The Door Wizard Limited will be valid for the period stated on the quotation or for a period of 14 days. Customer agrees to pay interest on all past-due sums at the highest rate allowed by law.

4. Shipping Charges, Taxes.

Where applicable separate charges for shipping and handling will be shown on the invoice(s). Unless Customer provides The Door Wizard Limited with a valid and correct tax exemption certificate applicable to the product ship-to location prior to The Door Wizard Limited's acceptance of the order, the Customer is responsible for sales and all other taxes associated with the order. If applicable, a separate charge for taxes will be shown on the invoice.

5. Title; Risk of Loss.

Title to products passes from The Door Wizard Limited to Customer when full payment has been received by The Door Wizard Limited. Loss or damage that occurs during shipping by a carrier selected by The Door Wizard Limited is The Door Wizard Limited's responsibility. Loss or damage that occurs during shipping by a carrier selected by Customer is Customer's responsibility. Title to software will remain with the applicable licensor(s).

6. Warranties.

THE LIMITED WARRANTIES APPLICABLE TO THE DOOR WIZARD LIMITED'S PRODUCTS ARE INCLUDED IN THE DOCUMENTATION PROVIDED WITH THE PRODUCTS; THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES FOR SERVICES. THE DOOR WIZARD LIMITED MAKES NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES EXCEPT THOSE STATED IN THE DOOR WIZARD LIMITED'S APPLICABLE WARRANTY STATEMENT IN EFFECT ON THE DATE OF THE INVOICE. ANY SUCH WARRANTIES WILL BE EFFECTIVE, AND THE DOOR WIZARD LIMITED WILL BE OBLIGATED TO HONOR ANY SUCH WARRANTIES, ONLY UPON THE DOOR WIZARD LIMITED'S RECEIPT OF PAYMENT IN FULL FOR THE ITEM TO BE WARRANTED.

7. Software.

All software is provided subject to the license agreement that is part of the package. Customer agrees that it will be bound by the license agreement once the package is opened or its seal is broken. The Door Wizard Limited does not warrant any software under this Agreement. Warranties, if any, for the software are contained in the license agreement that governs its purchase and use.

8. Exchanges.

From time to time, The Door Wizard Limited may, in its sole discretion, exchange products or portions of a product. Any exchanges will be made in accordance with The Door Wizard Limited's exchange policies in effect on the date of the exchange.

9. Products.

The Door Wizard Limited continually upgrades and revises its products and service offerings to provide The Door Wizard Limited customers with new products and service offerings. The Door Wizard Limited may revise and discontinue products at any time without prior notice to customers. The Door Wizard Limited will ship products that have the functionality and performance of the products ordered, but changes between what is shipped and what is described in a specification sheet or catalogue are possible. The parts and assemblies used in building The Door Wizard Limited products are selected from new and equivalent-to-new parts and assemblies in accordance with industry practices. Spare parts may be new or reconditioned.

10. Software and Peripherals Products.

Any warranty and technical support provided on third-party products purchased through The Door Wizard Limiteds are provided by the original manufacturer and not by The Door Wizard Limited. These products may be returned only in accordance with the return policy in effect on the date of invoice. The warranties and technical support may vary from product to product. All non-defective products purchased through The Door Wizard Limited including software and hardware that are returned to The Door Wizard Limited are subject to a twenty five percent (25%) restocking fee.

11. Refunds.

Refunds will be given at the discretion of The Door Wizard Limited. Goods that are not returned in their original packaging and condition excluded. Goods on special order excluded.

12. Limitation of Liability.

THE DOOR WIZARD LIMITED DOES NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY BEYOND THE REMEDIES SET FORTH HEREIN, INCLUDING ANY LIABILITY FOR PRODUCTS NOT BEING AVAILABLE FOR USE OR FOR LOST OR CORRUPTED DATA OR SOFTWARE, OR THE PROVISION OF SERVICES AND SUPPORT. THE DOOR WIZARD LIMITED WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR OTHER CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY THIRD PARTY EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN. CUSTOMER AGREES THAT FOR ANY LIABILITY RELATED TO THE PURCHASE OF PRODUCTS OR SERVICES BUNDLED WITH THE PRODUCTS, THE DOOR WIZARD LIMITED IS NOT LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AMOUNT OF DAMAGES ABOVE THE AGGREGATE (POUND) STERLING AMOUNT PAID BY CUSTOMER FOR THE PURCHASE OF PRODUCTS OR SERVICES UNDER THIS AGREEMENT.

13. Applicable Law.

Customer agrees to comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the various states or country where The Door Wizard Limited product(s) is to be used or resold.

14. Service and Support.

The Door Wizard Limited will provide general technical support to Customer in the form of email or telephone, in accordance with the then-current technical support policies in effect. Service offerings may vary from product to product. If Customer purchased optional services and support, The Door Wizard Limited and/or a third-party service provider will provide the optional service and support to Customer in accordance with the then-current terms and conditions in the optional service contract between The Door Wizard Limited and/or the third-party service provider and Customer. The Door Wizard Limited and/or the third-party service provider may, at their discretion, revise their general and optional service and support programs and the terms and conditions that govern them. The optional services and support programs and their terms and conditions in place at the time or purchase will apply to Customer's purchase. The Door Wizard Limited has no obligation to provide service or support until The Door Wizard Limited has received full payment for the product or service/support contract for which service or support is requested.

15. General Terms.

All prices are in Pounds Sterling. The Door Wizard Limited reserve the right to change any advertised price before you place an order

Please allow up to 21 days for delivery. Standard delivery is 7 working days. The Door Wizard Limited will advise of any delay or if the item is not available. Installation dates will be agreed between The Door Wizard Limited and the customer prior to installation.

Payment can be made by any major credit or debit card, cheque, cash or bank transfer. Payment will be debited from the account before the dispatch of the purchase. The Door Wizard Limited will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is within our power to do so, to keep the details of your order secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from our site. Goods to be paid for in advance. Unless on a 14 or 30 day credit account, goods then remain the property of The Door Wizard Limited until paid for in full. We reserve the right to charge interest and compensation on all overdue invoices.

The Door Wizard Limited request your name and address to enable us to provide you with an efficient after-sales service but The Door Wizard Limited WILL NOT pass your name and address to ANY third parties. (Except when required to do so by law)

16. Headings.

The section headings used herein are for convenience of reference only and do not form a part of these terms and conditions, and no construction or inference shall be derived there from.

The Door Wizard Limited and their respective logos are trademarks and/or service marks of The Door Wizard Limited Company.

All other trademarks belong to their respective owners.

17. Installations by The Door Wizard Limited:

If you are unable to keep to an installation date you must inform us at least 48 hours before the work is due to start so that a new date can be arranged. Once work has started we will complete it as fast as possible to ensure minimum disruption to you. If we are unable to complete the work due to a delay that is not our fault or that of our sub contractors or suppliers then we reserve the right to charge for waiting time and/or a return visit charge. We reserve the right to charge if you wish to change any details of the installation; a quotation for these changes will be given to you first.
